As we prepare to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ this Sunday, we are asking that God bless each of your families with wellness, peace, and joy! We are so grateful for this abundant life we have been given, and that includes our beautiful performing arts community! Happy Easter, Studio J Family…we love you dearly!!!
We have been hard at work exploring new ways to build and improve our virtual studio so that we can continue to provide you with the very best performing arts education possible and to help keep us all connected during this unprecedented time of social distancing. We are very excited to share some of the awesome changes that are coming your way!
We know that our students prefer live classes and will benefit greatly from being able to see and communicate with each other and their teachers. As we are learning to implement the new technologies that are available to us, we will be transitioning to a more live-based platform for all of our classes over the next three weeks. For the next two weeks, you will have an alternating schedule of pre-recorded videos as well as live Zoom classes. (See attached schedule.) After that, it is our goal to be able to provide most of our classes live and back at their regularly scheduled times for the remainder of the season. It is our hope that more of you will be able to participate more fully when we are back on schedule. New class links will be emailed out by Monday morning, April 13 in time for this week’s live classes and will also be found on the virtual website.
It is also our hope that we will still be able to showcase each class’s performance in the not so distant future, so we encourage our students to continue working on their recital/performance pieces from the videos provided by each instructor. We will keep you updated as we evaluate our options and possible formats once this crisis abates.
Again, we thank you for your faithfulness to Studio J and for allowing us the grace to learn and grow so that we can better serve you! As always, we welcome your questions, prayers, and prayer requests. God Bless you and keep you as we celebrate His goodness this weekend!
In His Love,
Miss D & Miss Meredith
