May First Update

Dear friends,

Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, prayers, and flexibility as we transitioned to our SJ Virtual Studio format in order to continue serving you through this unprecedented crisis.  We are honored and grateful that you have welcomed us into your homes, helping us stay connected to our students and keeping our performing arts community going strong!

We are also grateful for the positive feedback, pictures, testimonials, and fun stories of your experiences learning from home, though we understand that it may be challenging for some of you.  It has taken some creativity and patience to find the space to dance, keep the younger children engaged, and overcome technical hurdles, but you are doing it!!!

To be sure, it has been a challenging time for our business as well. There has been much to learn, and each day brings new challenges and obstacles.  But God is good and has been faithful to guide and direct us!   We are so proud of our staff who have worked extra hard as they gain new skills and pour their energy and enthusiasm into recording and live streaming classes.

So again, we THANK YOU for sticking with us through this time and keeping the Studio J family together!

As Oklahoma begins the process of re-opening by phases, we want to give you an update of what to expect in the upcoming weeks for Studio J PAC.  Here is the tentative plan for the last month of classes and the 2020 recital:

May 4-22 – Online live Zoom classes will continue at regularly scheduled times.

***Parents, we ask that young students NOT mute/unmute themselves during zoom classes as it has become a bit disruptive to class flow.  The instructor is able to open communication individually or with the entire class as needed and will give students the opportunity to interact when appropriate.  Thank you!
