Studio J Spring Recital 2026

We are so grateful for each of you and the joy you bring into our studio every week. As we move further into our season, we are already looking ahead with excitement and gratitude for all that’s to come. From preparing for our Spring Recital to special community events and opportunities to gather together, there is so much to celebrate.

This season continues to remind us of God’s goodness and faithfulness, and we are thankful to walk this journey alongside your dancers and families. Please take a few moments to read through the updates below—we can’t wait to share what’s ahead!

We are thrilled to celebrate Studio J’s 21st season with our 2026 Spring Recital theme,

"So Good"  

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever.  — Psalm 107:1

Recital Schedule: Our Spring recital schedule, with your dancer's performance day and time, can be found HERE!

Costumes: Recital costumes will begin arriving this spring and will be distributed as they come in. Hip Hop dancers should wear fitted clothing to class for upcoming fittings. Each costume will include a costume care sheet. If your dancer does not receive a costume right away, it may still be on its way or in getting alterations.​

Account Reminder: Dancer accounts must be current for costumes to be released. Please check the Parent Portal and resolve any outstanding balances.

Location: Recitals will be held at Studio J’s performing arts space, allowing for an intimate and meaningful experience for families.

Tickets: Each dancer will receive 4 tickets per show. Additional tickets will be available for purchase while supplies last. More ticketing information will be shared closer to recital time.

Studio J Invited to OU Gymnastics!

Studio J has been invited to attend the OU Women’s Gymnastics Meet vs. LSU on Friday, February 20th.

As a special opportunity for our Studio J community, families will receive $5 off tickets to this highly anticipated meet.

Discounted tickets can be purchased at ouath.at/StudioJ26or by scanning the QR code on the flyer.

This is a fun way to support women in athletics, enjoy time together, and represent Studio J at a big OU event.

Pom Prep Classes – Get Ready for Tryout Season!

Get ready for pom tryout season with Fire dancer Elena Manning! These exclusive Pom Prep classes are designed specifically for middle and high school dancers, with training that supports dancers as they prepare for upcoming pom tryouts.

Middle School (5th-7th): Wednesday 7:15–8:15 PM

High School (8th +): Wednesday  8:15–9:45 PM

Register through the Parent Portal and click “Special Events.” Families may choose one date or attend all sessions. Spots are limited, so we encourage you to register soon!

 This Week’s Theme: Hearts & Love Letters

This week, dancers will write on hearts what they love about dance! We will use these hearts to decorate the front windows in February. Dancers are also welcome to bring valentines to pass out to their friends at the end of class! We can’t wait to celebrate this season of friendship with you!

Movement Mondays!

Join us for Movement Monday, our drop-in 18+ community dance class designed to get you moving just for the joy of it. This month’s theme is For the Love of Movement—no pressure, no perfection, just showing up for your body and your creativity.

Mondays 6:55–7:40 PM $18 per class or $69 for a 4-class pack Ages 18+ No dance experience needed (and no special shoes required!)

Miss Chloe isn’t just teaching—she’s dancing right alongside you. This class is about moving together, sharing space, and remembering that dance gets to be joyful and fun! 

Whether you’ve danced your whole life or are stepping into a studio for the very first time, this class is for you. Come move, breathe, sweat a little, and reconnect with why movement matters. Do it for fun. Do it for yourself. Do it for the love of movement.
