The Greatest Gift: A Christmas Story Told Through Dance

This year, Studio J’s Christmas Show is becoming something brand new!

​

The Greatest Gift is a special Christmas production that will tell the story of Christmas through Scripture, narration, music, and dance. Each class will play a part in bringing the Christmas story to life as we celebrate the hope, joy, peace, and love.

​

Dancers from our Twinkle Toes (age 3) through Intermediate classes will participate in this special production. Please note that Twirling Twos and Acro classes will not perform in the Christmas show.

​

We are so excited to begin a new Studio J Christmas tradition and share this meaningful celebration with our dancers and their families!​

 

When to arrive…

To ensure a smooth experience, please plan to arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled showtime. This will give you enough time to walk from parking, drop your dancer off, and find seating. We have multiple shows scheduled for the day!

​

Your dancer will sit backstage with our Studio J staff during the event. After the show is over, you will pick up your dancer from the stage. We appreciate your help in maintaining a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our Studio J families.

 

A Note About Seating

We are excited to be indoors this year at Edmond Santa Fe High School Auditorium! Because this is an indoor venue, seating will be limited for each performance.

We kindly ask families to keep your guest list to immediate family and a few special guests so that every dancer has plenty of loved ones there to cheer them on. 

​

Christmas Show Attire

All dancers will wear black dance attire for The Greatest Gift. Dancers may wear black leotards, black leggings or dance pants, and black tops. Ballet dancers may wear pink tights with their black leotard.

Dancers should wear the appropriate dance shoes for their class and style of dance (ballet shoes, jazz shoes, tap shoes, clean tennis shoes for hip hop, etc.).

Dancers may also choose to wear our annual Studio J Christmas Sweatshirt as part of their performance attire.
