Hello October!
Our dancers are really finding their groove as we step into October! Friendships are blossoming, confidence is growing, and the studios are full of joy.
World Teacher’s Day is this Sunday, October 5th. Let’s give a big thank you to all of the amazing teachers who give their time, talent, and heart to inspire the next generation—especially our Studio J staff!
Looking for fall fun with your family? Local pumpkin patches and festivals are now open!
Orr Family Farm (OKC) → hayrides, corn maze, train rides, animals, carnival games
Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch (Arcadia) → pumpkins, tractor rides, petting zoo, play areas
Wings Fall Festival (Edmond) → pumpkins, games, hayrides, crafts, inflatables
This Week’s Theme: Movie Character Week!
October 6–10
It’s Movie Character Week at Studio J! Teachers will use music inspired by their favorite movie characters—think Frozen, Moana, Trolls, and more!
The Sweetest Day Ever – October 11
We are honored to be part of The Sweetest Day Ever, a celebration dedicated to the foster care community. This event brings awareness to the many ways individuals and families can help — and it’s filled with performances, fun, and inspiration!
Our Studio J Company dancers will be performing, and there’s also a Talent Show open to the community!

Pom Camp Registration is OPEN!
Pom Camp is back for the holiday season!
Ages 4–11
October 24 – December 5 (no class November 28)
Performance at the Studio J Christmas Shows on December 6
This fun, high-energy short session is perfect for both new and returning dancers — and open to the community! Dancers will learn pom technique, routines, and performance skills in a positive, confidence-building environment.
Register now through the Parent Portal under the Special Events tab. Spots will fill quickly!
Daddy-Daughter Ballet Ball – November 15
One of our most magical events of the season! The Daddy-Daughter Ballet Ball returns Saturday, November 15th from 1:00-3:00 and 4:00-6:00!
All ages are welcome! We will have refreshments, dancing, and picture opportunities. We had a ball last year and cannot wait to see everyone this year! Tickets go on sale on October 5th. Purchase Tickets Here!
Christmas at the Park – December 6
This year we’re celebrating in a new location: Scissortail Park in downtown Oklahoma City! Save the date for Saturday, December 7th — it will be a beautiful day filled with holiday cheer and dance. Schedules and more info will be released on October 11th.
