It’s Recital Season at Studio J!

The excitement is here—Dress Rehearsal Week and Recital are just around the corner! This is such a special time in our season as everything begins to come together and our dancers prepare to take the stage.


We are also thrilled that our 2026–2027 season schedule is now live, with registration opening May 11th at 10:00 AM. It’s never too early to start planning for another incredible year at Studio J!


We are so proud of all the hard work, growth, and dedication we’ve seen this year, and we can’t wait to celebrate each and every dancer in “So Good.”


Be sure to read through all the important details below to help your dancer feel confident and prepared for this exciting week ahead!

Dress Rehearsal Week — May 4–8

Dress Rehearsal Week is here! This is an exciting time as dancers get the opportunity to practice on stage in preparation for recital.


Dress rehearsal will take place during your dancer’s regular class time. Students should arrive in full costume. Hair and makeup do not need to be recital-ready; we simply ask that hair is pulled back and out of the face.


Dancers will have time on stage to practice their routines. Dressing rooms will be available for students who have multiple classes.


Please note: Dress rehearsal is CLOSED to students and instructors only.

We can’t wait for our dancers to experience the stage and continue building excitement for recital!

Reach Out and Read Book Drive


We are excited to partner with Reach Out and Read Oklahoma for a Studio J Book Drive!

We will be collecting gently used books (picture books, board books, and chapter books) beginning Monday, May 4th during Dress Rehearsal Week through Recital Sunday, May 17th. Books can be dropped off in the Studio J lobby.


Reach Out and Read helps provide children with books through pediatric care, encouraging families to read together and giving kids a strong start in language and learning. Your donations will help place books into the hands of children across Oklahoma.


Let’s come together and give books a second story while promoting literacy in our community!

Our 2026–2027 Season Is HERE!

We are so excited to share that our 2026–2027 Studio J season schedule has officially been

released!

There are so many amazing options for both dance and theatre, and we can’t wait for another incredible year of growth, creativity, and performance.

We are especially excited about our upcoming theatre productions: High School Musical Jr. & Seussical Jr. (Standing Ovation) Nemo Kids & Trolls Jr. (Take A Bow)

Registration opens May 11th  10am— be ready to secure your dancer’s spot, as classes fill quickly!

We can’t wait to continue this journey with your family into another amazing season at Studio J!

Creel here with LimerickStudio. That was a WONDERFUL week of photos....your dancers are awesome and the entire week is our favorite of the year!  Your dancer's photos have been posted to our website for you to view and order.

Things to know:

  • If you buy two digital photos, the third one is FREE.  Buy 2, Get 1 Free.

  • Editing is available.  If you want a photo retouched, email the desired change and image number to creel@limerickstudio.com.  I will make the changes and post the photo back to the website for you to order from.  Alternatively, you can place an order and leave a note for me in the NOTE section.

  • The Class/Dancer composite is intended to print as an 8x10.  Other print sizes will have some unfortunate cropping.

  • The 3 image composite is intended to print as a 5x10, 8x16, 10x20, or 15x30 only.  

  • Custom composites are available.  If your dancer is in several classes and you want a single print composite designed, email me at creel@limerickstudio.com with the image numbers you'd like and your phone number.  I'll give you a call and we'll work out the details together..

Recital Season Is Here — “So Good”

The excitement is building, and recital is right around the corner! We can’t wait to celebrate all of our dancers and the incredible growth they’ve shown this season.

Recital TicketsRecital tickets are available on our website. Click here to purchase tickets.


Each performer will receive 4 complimentary tickets, which were sent home during picture week. If you have not recieved your tickets please stop by the front desk. Tickets are required for all attendees except children ages 2 and under who sit on a lap.


Additional tickets are $6 each, and we kindly ask families to limit purchases to 10 per show so that all families have the opportunity to attend. Tickets are available while supplies last and often sell out quickly.


If you do not need all 4 of your complimentary tickets, please let us know so we can offer them to another family.
