Celebrate Chocolate Milk Day + Community Fun!
Our dancers are continuing to shine as we wrap up another great week at Studio J! We love seeing the energy, smiles, and friendships that are filling our studios each day.

This Saturday, September 27th, is National Chocolate Milk Day — the perfect excuse to sip something sweet this weekend!
We also want to highlight our friends at the Down Syndrome Festival & 5K happening Saturday at the Myriad Gardens in OKC. This family-friendly event includes a 5K run, games, resource booths, and inclusive fun for all ages.
This Week’s Theme: Storybook Character Week!

Join us for storybook week! We will read a fun dance story and then dance along!Â

Pom Camp is back for the holiday season!
Ages 4–11
October 24 – December 5 (no class November 28)
Performance at the Studio J Christmas Shows on December 6
This fun, high-energy short session is perfect for both new and returning dancers — and open to the community! Dancers will learn pom technique, routines, and performance skills in a positive, confidence-building environment.
Register now through the Parent Portal under the Special Events tab. Spots will fill quickly!
Daddy-Daughter Ballet Ball – November 15
One of our most magical events of the season! The Daddy-Daughter Ballet Ball returns Saturday, November 15th. Details will be shared soon, and tickets go on sale October 5th.
Christmas at the Park – December 6
This year we’re celebrating in a new location: Scissortail Park in downtown Oklahoma City! Save the date for Saturday, December 7th — it will be a beautiful day filled with holiday cheer and dance. Schedules and more info will be released on October 11th.
National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA)
We’re excited to kick off another year of NHSDA at Studio J! Open to dancers in grades 6–12, NHSDA recognizes outstanding achievement in dance while offering leadership, service, and performance opportunities.

Induction Ceremony – February 1
This year’s NHSDA members will choreograph special numbers for the Christmas Show (Dec 6), help at the Daddy-Daughter Dance (Nov 15), and join in other community events.
We can’t wait to see all our NHSDA dancers shine this year!
