Season 22 Starts Monday!

Your Season. Your Story. Your Stage.

It’s finally here—Season 22 begins Monday!

There is something so special about the beginning of a new season. New dancers walking through our doors for the first time, returning dancers reconnecting with friends, new goals being set, and so many memories waiting to be made.

As we begin our 22nd season, we are incredibly thankful for the families who make Studio J what it is. Thank you for trusting us with your children and allowing us to be a small part of their story.

We have prayed over this season, our students, our teachers, and our classrooms, and we cannot wait to see what God has in store.

Here we go, Season 22!

It’s a Family Thing!

What better way to begin our season than by celebrating FAMILY!

Our very first theme of Season 22 is:

IT’S A FAMILY THING!

We want to fill Studio J with the faces of the families who make our community so special!

Please send us your favorite 4x6 family photo for us to display at the studio. And yes... bonus points if it’s a dance picture!

You can: Bring a hard copy with your dancer during the first week of class OR  Email your family photo to info@studiojdanceok.com

We can't wait to see our Studio J family represented throughout the studio!

Getting Ready for Your First Week

Whether this is your family's first season at Studio J or you've been dancing with us for years, here are a few reminders to help that first week go smoothly.

Arrive a few minutes early so your dancer has time to use the restroom, change into their dance shoes, and be ready when their teacher calls for class.

Please bring all shoes needed for class in a labeled dance bag and write your dancer's first and last name inside every pair of shoes.

Remember, dance shoes—including Hip Hop tennis shoes—should never be worn outside. This helps protect their shoes and our dance floors.

Once Class Begins

When their teacher calls for class, dancers can line up and head into the studio with their classmates.

Parents are welcome to relax in the lobby or run a quick errand during class. We just ask that you return before class ends for pick-up.

To help our dancers stay focused and keep our classrooms safe, parents should not enter the dance rooms unless invited by a teacher or Studio J staff member.

If your dancer needs you, we'll come get you!

We've Got Them!

For our newest dancers, it may take a week or two for everything to feel familiar. That's completely okay!

Our teachers are ready to help your dancer learn their classroom routine, meet new friends, build confidence, and, of course, DANCE!

Before long, they'll know exactly where to go and what to do.

First Week Heads-Up!

The first week of classes is always exciting—and BUSY! Our lobby and parking lot will be

especially full as everyone gets back into the rhythm of a new season.

Please give yourself a little extra time for parking, drop-off, and pick-up, especially during class-change times.

A few important reminders: please keep the red curb/fire lanes clear, do not use handicap spaces for drop-off, and remember that our drop-off lane is for active drop-off and pick-up only—not waiting or parking.

Our lobby may feel a little extra lively too! Things will settle into their normal rhythm quickly, so thank you in advance for your patience, kindness, and help keeping everyone safe during our first week.

We’re so excited to have our Studio J family back in the building!
