Studio J Families,
We are a couple of weeks into Season 22, and it has been so much fun watching our classrooms come to life!
The first few weeks of a new season are all about finding our rhythm—learning new routines, remembering where our dance shoes go, meeting new friends, and getting comfortable in class.
We love seeing those little connections begin!
One of the things we treasure most about Studio J is watching children grow throughout a season. Sometimes that growth looks like learning a new skill, but sometimes it's walking into class independently, introducing yourself to a new friend, trying something that feels a little scary, or simply realizing, “I belong here.”
We're so glad your family is part of Season 22!
Daddy-Daughter Ballet Ball – October 3rd
One of our most magical events of the season! The Daddy-Daughter Ballet Ball returns:
Saturday, October 3rd from 1:00-3:00 and 4:00-6:00!
All ages are welcome! We will have refreshments, dancing, and picture opportunities. We had a ball last year and cannot wait to see everyone this year! Tickets go on sale on September 20th. Purchase Tickets Here!
This Week: Bring a Stuffy!
We have a VERY special guest coming to dance this week...your dancer's favorite STUFFED ANIMAL!
During the week of September 28, dancers are invited to bring one favorite stuffed animal friend to class.
Teachers will be incorporating our stuffy friends into some of the fun throughout the week.
Please make sure your dancer's stuffy is something they can easily carry themselves, and don't forget to put their name on it if possible!
We can't wait to see who comes to Studio J this week!
We Are Going Back to Disney World!!
We are SO excited to announce that Studio J is going to Disney World in October 2027!
Dancers ages 7 and older (must turn 7 by October 16, 2027) will have the opportunity to dance on stage at Disney, and dancers ages 10 and older (must turn 10 by October 17, 2027) will also have the opportunity to dance in the Main Street Parade!
We would love for your dancer—and your whole family—to join us for this unforgettable Studio J adventure!
Disney Information Meetings

We'll go over the general itinerary, pricing information, important dates, and other trip details. Whether you've traveled to Disney with Studio J before or this would be your first time, we hope you'll come learn more!
We Still Want Your Family Picture!
Our “It's a Family Thing!” display is growing, and we would still love to include YOUR family!
If you haven't sent us a family picture yet, it's not too late.
Reply to this email with your favorite family photo, or bring a 4x6 hard copy to the studio.
We want our lobby to showcase the wonderful families who make up Season 22 & You!
Coming Next Week: Canned Food Drive!
We’re kicking off October with a little Studio J kindness!
Starting next week, we’ll collect canned food and other non-perishable items at the studio.
We love giving our dancers opportunities to see that the gifts they develop inside the studio can go hand-in-hand with serving and caring for others outside the studio.
Bring your donations to class and drop them off in the collection area in our lobby.

Christmas Show News Coming Next Week!
It may only be September, but we’re already getting excited about Christmas at Studio J!
Our annual Studio J Christmas Shows will be on Saturday, December 5 at Edmond Santa Fe High School Auditorium!
Next Saturday, we’ll post our Christmas Show assignments, so you can see which show your dancer’s class will perform in and add their show time to your calendar.
Our Christmas Shows are one of our favorite Studio J traditions, and we can’t wait to celebrate the joy of the season with you!

We have some FUN days coming up at Studio J! Whether your little one loves stories, dancing, crafts, or a good pajama party, we have something special planned.
Storybook Camp: Going on a Leaf Hunt
Thursday, October 15 | 9:00–11:00 AM | Ages 3–5
Dance, imagine, and explore! Our little dancers will bring a favorite fall story to life with movement, music, crafts, games, and storytime fun.
Gobble Till You Wobble Dance Party
Wednesday, November 25 | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM | Ages 3–7
Get ready to gobble, giggle, and dance! This silly Thanksgiving adventure includes wacky waddles, an imaginative turkey hunt, dancing, games, and festive crafts. Please bring a snack and water!
PJs, Pirouettes & Parents’ Night Out
Friday, November 27 | 5:00–7:30 PM | Ages 4–9
We’ve got the kids—you enjoy the night out! Come in your favorite PJs for an evening of twirls, dancing, games, pizza, and cozy fun with friends. Pizza is included!
Storybook Camp: Twelve Days of Christmas
December 14 & 22 | 9:00–11:00 AM | Ages 3–5
Step into a Christmas storybook! Little dancers will enjoy festive dancing, music, crafts, games, and storytime as we celebrate the season's magic.
